Set in deep space a lone detective most solve a crime that cannot happen. In a century without murder and a billion miles from home, how will you crack the case?

Bridging Gameplay and Narrative

Excess Asset is a story-driven RPG set in a future where humanity has ceded control to an AI hive mind. Players take on the role of Broch Rioch, a traumatised former child slave turned symbiont, whose ability to interface with drone minds grants him influence, but not autonomy. Through a unique blend of inner monologue, resource-driven psychological modulation, and puzzle-oriented interaction, Excess Asset challenges players to navigate a morally complex universe where survival depends on persuasion, not rebellion.
